Aspects of your participation in the donation process for which you are compensated:
01
Time Commitment:
Egg donation involves multiple appointments, including medical exams, psychological screenings, and monitoring visits over several weeks. Donors are compensated for the time spent attending these appointments and following medical protocols.
03
Inconvenience and Travel:
Many donors need to travel to clinics for their appointments and procedures. Compensation also covers the inconvenience of travel and time taken off from work or other obligations.
02
Physical Commitment:
The egg retrieval process requires the donor to undergo hormone injections, and there are potential physical side effects. Compensation recognizes the physical and emotional demands of the process.
04
Commitment to the Process:
Egg donors must remain committed through the whole process, including screenings, injections, monitoring, and the retrieval procedure itself. Compensation is given for seeing the process through.
